Your reading preferences, font scaling configurations, and saved shlok bookmarks/favorites are stored strictly locally on your mobile device.

To deliver the complete suite of features, Bhagavad Gita may request permissions:

Local Storage / File Access: Required to access the bundled offline `.mp3` audio files (Gita verses and Hanuman Chalisa) and save your custom bookmark states locally.
Notification Permission: Used to schedule the timezone-aware local notification for the daily "Aaj ka Shlok" reminder at 6:00 AM.
